Van Patten Primary Bathroom

Music Credit: Joseph Mcdade

This small primary bathroom was a fun challenge. We worked to reconfigure the space to make it feel larger and more functional. Removing the alcove shower wall and building a corner shower with glass visually opened up the room and helped eliminate the pinch point in the center of the bathroom. We used marble for the corner bench and niche and as a border for the shower itself. This creates a seamless look from the curb all the way up the wall.

We searched far and wide for the perfect statement piece to use for a custom vanity, and we couldn't be happier with how this antique washstand turned out. We finished the vanity with a wall-mounted faucet, matching the shower fixtures that tie the whole bathroom together.
